Indian Sandstone Patio Project in Glasgow

We completed this garden landscaping project in Glasgow to transform an uneven, high-maintenance garden into a practical outdoor space suitable for everyday use and entertaining.

Like many gardens, this one came with a few challenges to overcome. The ground levels were uneven, which meant careful preparation was needed to create a solid, level base. Drainage was also a key consideration—especially with Scotland’s weather—so the groundwork was designed to prevent water from sitting or causing issues over time.

The design features an Indian sandstone patio with a decorative circular centrepiece, surrounded by mixed sandstone paving for a cohesive finish. An artificial grass lawn was installed to provide a clean, low-maintenance surface, while raised timber planters added structure and defined seating areas.

All ground levels were carefully prepared and compacted to ensure proper drainage and long-term durability.
